Overview

Imagine you can put Napoleon on trial!

Each weekly course focuses on a controversial figure of history where students study, dissect and actively discuss specially curated case packets of primary sources.

The class will be divided into “prosecution” and “defense” and students will decide which history witness to call, design questions and craft opening/closing statements.

Each course ends with a trial where students defend or protect the selected figure.
